About Us

The Art of Dreamin’ began in 2007, inspired by a simple challenge: my parents were coming to spend December with us, and we had no suitable bed for them. My mom had a sensitive back, so comfort was essential—but we also needed something that would fit a guest room that wasn’t used often. Traditional sofa beds, with their thin mattresses, simply wouldn’t do.

So we designed our own solution: two twin beds with sofa-like backs, mounted on casters so they could roll together to form a comfortable double bed. A removable top layer completed the sleeping surface.

That’s when our creativity truly took off. Why not make the headboards artistic—pieces that could double as room dividers for studio apartments, ADUs, Skoolies, or tiny homes? That was the birth of the Art of Dreamin’ Sleeper Sofa.

As architects, we soon realized we could weave our designs into our projects, using themed patterns to create cohesive, unified spaces. And when we noticed that most pet owners had to settle for ordinary cages and crates, we asked: why not create enclosures that complement their homes? This led us to our line of artistic furniture for animals.

We bring these visions to life using the same CAD software we rely on in our architectural work, creating detailed digital models for laser or CNC machines to cut from a variety of materials. Our mixed-media designs often blend metal, wood, glass and other elements, resulting in functional art that elevates any environment.

Top Quality Materials

We use only the finest metals—aluminum, steel—and premium wood products to craft our living art pieces, ensuring durability, beauty, and timeless design.
